our Service Works |

When
you call Homeward Bound Pet Care Services, we arrange for a free
visit to your home to:
- Meet
you and your loving pets
- Get
detailed information about caring for your pets and your home
- Get
a veterinary release signature
- Complete
a service agreement
- Pick
up a door key
During this visit you decide how often you want the
sitter to visit, and what services you want performed.

Each visit to your home includes:
|

- Providing
love and care when you’re not there
- Fresh
food and water
- Brushing,
combing, and providing playtime
- Give medications,
vitamins, or other special care
- Arrange
for medical treatment in case of illness
- Scoop
the litter box and clean up all accidents

Key Program- for Clients "On
the Go"
|
| Homeward
Bound’s “Ready
Key Program” is designed for the “busy” pet owner
who travels frequently for business or pleasure. Sometimes your work
or busy schedule does not allow you a lot of notice, or perhaps you
are too busy and simply overlook making a pet sitting reservation.
Participating in this program makes it easier for Homeward Bound Pet
Care Services to accept shorter notice reservation requests.
We require two copies of your house key, which we will pick up
at the Initial Visit in which your Pet Sitter will meet you and your
pets to get acquainted, pick up keys, and handle paperwork. If there
is an emergency (storm, accident, illness, or the like) which prevents
the scheduled Pet Sitter from making it to your home, this allows
another Pet Sitter to retrieve the backup key from the office and
take care of your pet(s).
For your security, all keys that are not currently
in use are stored in a secure area, which is monitored by an
alarm system 24/7. These keys are numbered, and do not have your
name or address on them.
If you choose to participate in our Ready Key Program,
we will keep both keys on file for future visits. You may request
the return
of your keys at any time. However, there is a $7.00 service fee,
for returning your key, if you choose to discontinue using the
Ready Key Program. You may stop by our office and pick up the key
to avoid
a service fee.
*Homeward
Bound requests 48 hours notice for all reservations, unless it
is an emergency. Holiday periods are excluded from this arrangement.
Participation
in this program does not guarantee a reservation with Homeward
Bound Pet Care services. |

Note:
We are unable to honor specific time request for any visit.
Dogs: AM
visits will be between 5 am and 10 am.
PM visits will
be between 5 pm and 10 pm.
Note: Dog visits
will always be approximately 12 hours apart for clients scheduling
2 visits per day.
Cats: Cats
will be visited at approximately the same time each day, sometime
between 5 AM and 10 PM depending on my schedule, location of other
jobs, and weather conditions. |

Arrange for Service: |

Please contact us as far in advance as possible. We suggest at least
2 week's notice but it is possible we may be able to accommodate
last minute requests for service. You should note however that we
book up fast during busy times. I will be happy to assist you in
finding another local pet sitter if I am unable to help you.
